Stephen Curry Injury Update: Will Warriors star play against Pistons?
Stephen Curry certainly didn’t seem like he was in much pain as he burned the Cavaliers on Thursday night.
The Warriors star, who is facing a hip injury, scored a game-high 40 in Golden State’s 104-89 win over Cleveland. He scored 20 points in just the fourth quarter, and the Warriors edged the Cavs 36-8 in this period to claim the win.
Golden State will go into the second game of a fighting set having won nine of its last 10 games. The Warriors will face the Pistons in Detroit on Friday night, but is their MVP contender ready to compete?

Will Stephen Curry play with the Pistons?
During his post-match media stay on Thursday, Curry admitted that his hip still bothers him and noted that he will receive an evaluation from the medical team. He was officially listed as problematic when he entered the contest on Thursday, then upgraded to probable.
“That charge actually got me in a little bit of trouble, so I’m just trying to work it out a little bit,” Curry said. “So we’ll see how it feels when I wake up.”
Steph Curry said the accusation he had made against Harden the night before “confounded me a bit.” Hit him hard in the hip. “There’s not much meat there.” Looks like he missed tomorrow’s game in Detroit. “I have to get an assessment.” pic.twitter.com/8TuBBKiqm4
