As far as four-star damage dealers come in Honkai: Star Railway, Serval is one of the more interesting ones. Not like a single target fighter more like Dan Hoanh, she works best on enemy groups. Using an electric guitar as her weapon, she can handle the Shocked state, then use that state to inflict further damage to the entire party. With the right Light Cone and Relic setup, someone’s Serval build can tear groups of enemies in. Honkai: Star Railway with little effort.
What are the best light cones for Serval Build in Honkai: Star Railway?
With Serval, you want to maximize her ATK as much as possible. Not only for her standard attacks, but also to increase the damage over time (DoT) dealt to shocked enemies.
For five stars, Night on the Milky Way is ideal. It gives her a stacked ATK boost in a large group of enemies and drastically boosts her ATK when she deals a Weakness Break. Serval is already excellent at dealing with crowds with her Skills and Ultimate, and these boosts make her even more effective.
For the four-star option, I personally found the Seriousness of the Breakfast to be helpful. It increases Damage by 12%, but the ATK boost she gets from defeated enemies makes her stronger in prolonged combat. I found this especially useful during battles against Automaton Grizzly in Belobog. It is weak against Lightning, but it also enjoys summoning allies who eventually become food for this ATK boost.
As for the three-star options, Sagacity is useful because its ATK boost is a perfect match with her Ultimate’s ability to extend Shocked. Both last for two turns, so they merge neatly and increase DoT significantly.

What is the best set of relics for a Serval build Honkai: Star Railway?
The ideal Relic set for Serval is the Band of Sizzling Thunder, which seems tailored for her and not just for the rock band aesthetic. The two Relics in the set will give her 10% Thunder Damage while a full set will increase her ATK by 25% when she casts her Skill. Since her Skill is the best way to inflict Shock, this buff for DoT is extremely useful. It can be found in Cavern of Corrosion: Path of Holy Hymn, you’ll find it after reaching Cloudford on The Xianzhou Loufu.
However, since that can take a while to complete, the Musketeers of Wild Wheat set is a good backup. Again, it’s all about increasing her ATK as much as possible, which this set gives her double. With two sets, her ATK is increased by 12% while a special full set increases the damage from her Base ATK by 10%, both useful.
