Which spring beauty trend are you most excited about?
The classic vibe of a clear, glossy liquid eyeliner is really my passion, even though it took about a hundred years to do it myself. But here we are! Just in time for the two-pointed cat eyeliner trend, and I’m (mostly) settled for experimenting.
How did you create this look?
I started by stroking my face with Clean Fresh Skincare Priming Glow ($10). I like anything with added frosting, so this is always a good first step. Since I only like light coverage, I mixed some foundation with sunscreen and applied it with a blender starting at the T-zone (where I like the most coverage) and gently working it out. I added a little concealer under the eyes and corners of the nose. Then I switched to serious business: eyebrow. I like strong eyebrows. Before I start eyelinerI scan a little copper eye shadow on my lid. I use the oil as part of my skincare routine, so this helps ensure nothing smudges and also adds a nice bit of color. My tip for using the right liquid eyeliner is to first and foremost find a formula that’s easy to apply, like Exhibitionist Eyelash Enhancer Eyeliner ($8). Then start with which eye feels more awkward. (It’s easier to match if you do your stronger side second.) For this wing shape, I wanted to start at the inner corner and “tick” each side before doing the second step. . Then I end up with a long sweep to create a (hopefully!) smooth and seamless line. Last but certainly not least is Exhibitionist’s Lengthening & Strengthening Mascara. I started with a primer to get really thick lashes for the 60s mod look. My last step is lipstick—But on my cheeks like a creamy blush. It makes the overall look feel fresh and perfect for spring.
Why are eyes so interesting to focus on?
For some reason, any color on my lips only tends to last about five minutes. So, if I like makeup, then a bold eyeshadow would work best. I have super long eyelashes, but they’re yellow at the top, so yeah mascara really does give a punch, especially if I apply it on my top and bottom lashes.

I like the shape of the brush. it’s super sexy, so I can really feel it pull and lengthen every lash.
