More live-action Sonic the Hedgehog media is on the way, with a Sonic 3 movies and live action shows on the go. The Paramount+ program is set to arrive in 2023. There is currently no release window for the next film.

We are pleased to announce that Sonic theatrical film and the first live-action Sonic series for Paramount+ is being actively developed. We have a remarkable partnership with Paramount and we are excited to continue to expand Sonic the Hedgehog franchise with them. 2022 is shaping up to be an important year for the franchise with the second film being released this April, as well as Sonic Frontiers, the highly anticipated video game title, is coming out this holiday. Sonic has been loved by fans around the world for over 30 years, and we look forward to continuing to provide them with memorable moments and experiences for years to come.
Sonic movie 2 will appear on April 8, 2022. That part will bring together familiar faces like Tails and Knuckles. While Colleen O’Shaughnessey will voice Tails in the game, Idris Elba will be Knuckles. Knuckles is also confirmed to appear in the upcoming Paramount+ TV show. Sonic Frontiers slated to release in holiday in 2022.
