LAS VEGAS – No one would mistake this for a serious football game. Not with celebrities Snoop Dogg (AFC) and Pete Davidson (NFC) as honorary captains.
But the revamped Pro Bowl led to more intensity in recent years and the first NFC win since the AFC vs NFC format was reintroduced in 2017. In front of 58,331 fans at the Stadium Allegiant action Sunday, NFC won 35-33 in a reimagined match of the event that now includes a series of skill competitions and three separate chess football matches.
The board games themselves have been considerably more competitive than the standard games of recent years, although not in the traditional settlement genre. The reduced risk of injury seems to have prompted the players to train harder.

Event search will take a similar shape in the future as the league solicits feedback from players and fans.
