Snapchat is said to be working on a subscription, and it could give users access to many features including the ability to pin chats. With the implementation of Snapchat+, users may have to pay to access exclusive, test, and pre-release features on the social media platform. With a paid subscription, Snapchat users will receive custom Snapchat icons and a special badge. The upcoming feature was first spotted by a notable developer on Twitter. According to him, Snapchat+ subscriptions start at 4.59 EUR (about 370 Rs) per month.

Notable developer Alessandro Paluzzi (@alex193a) on Twitter suggestions that Snapchat is working on a new subscription called Snapchat+. Users who choose a subscription will have access to custom Snapchat icons, a special badge, and will allow users to pin conversations with friends. The screenshot shared by Paluzzi shows the pricing details of the Snapchat+ subscription.

According to the tweet, a one-month Snapchat+ subscription costs EUR 4.59 (about Rs 370), while a six-month plan costs EUR 24.99 (about Rs 2,000). A one-year subscription is shown for EUR 45.99 (about Rs 3,700). Besides, the company can offer a one-week free trial to users. Payment is supposed to be charged to the user’s Play Store account and subscriptions may be automatically renewed after a selected period of time until the user cancels.

However, Snapchat has yet to share any information about the release of the premium service.

The social media platform has introduced many new features recently. It announced The new Shared Stories functionality allows users who have been added to a Shared Stories group to invite other Snapchat users to that group to view and contribute to stories. Also, Snap the parent of Snapchat extend partnered with ShareChat’s Moj to integrate its AR Camera Kit in MX TakaTak. With this, the MX TakaTak app now provides access to a new camera experience powered by Snapchat’s augmented reality (AR) technology.
