Skull & Bones release date could be in November, Xbox store listing allegedly with DLC pack discovered
Skull & Bones can finally set sail on November 8, after years of being stuck in development hell. An industry insider has revealed an Xbox Store entry supposedly for this game indicating the release date. The alleged listing also includes several DLC packs that may be available at launch. Ubisoft Singapore is said to have started development in 2013 as a spin-off of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. Now, almost a decade later, there’s still no official release date for Skull & Bones.

The tweet mentions that Skull & Bones will launch with a plethora of DLC packs, including pre-order rewards, Bloody Bones Legacy Mission, Ashen Corsair Mission, Smuggling Tokens, Digital Soundtrack and Art Book, and Premium Bonus Pack. Lumia too shared Skull & Bones will release on November 8th. Ubisoft The release date has yet to be officially announced. Skull & Bones was originally disclosure by Ubisoft during E3 2017, followed by an expansion program game trailer at E3 2018. Over the next few years, the game died with the wind as it was pushed back into obscurity. The game recently returned to the limelight after its test footage reported was leaked on Reddit providing a detailed look at the gameplay.
Set in the vast expanse of the Indian Ocean, Skull & Bones will allow players to explore alone or as a crew of five. This sounds like Xbox’s Sea of Thieves, except it’s not a cartoon. Pirate ship battles will be the core of the game, as other players will be able to fight you and retrieve your dropped treasure. Played from a third-person perspective – much like Assassin’s Creed – players will be able to customize their character and manage the ship and its crew.
Skull & Bones is currently slated to release on November 8 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It was previously slated for 2019. With new consoles coming out in recent years, Skull & Bones is likely to arrive on PS5 and Xbox Series S/X as well.
