Singer reveals Turbo Study is the re-enactment of the latest Porsche 911

Classic Porsche 911 Enthusiasts, listen up. Singer are thinking of a new way to empty your pocket books and this is supercharged. Step into the Porsche 911 reimagined by Singer – Turbo Study.

Until now, Singer has tried his best natural flat six effort. This changes with the new Turbo Study, and of course, with more power as a result. This gorgeous Singer’s modified bodywork resembles that of 930 Turbo, but as is customary with Singer, the 964 and the air-cooled flat-six are the starting points for the engine. Singer says its Turbo Study features “a new evolution of the Mezger” flat-six, now in a 3.8-liter magnified form. Base power is 450hp, but customers can specify more if they want – Singer didn’t add that’s possible.

To create that power, this flat 6.8-liter features a twin turbocharger with power outlets, a bespoke air-to-water cooler and a unique “shark fin” on the rear fender that acts as a air inlet. Singer will also give people the choice of rear- or all-wheel drive with the Turbo, and regardless of drive choice, a six-speed manual transmission will be standard. To keep things smooth, both traction control and ABS are present.

In other performance news, Singer says that the Turbo offers a better improvement in the form of reduced noise levels than a naturally aspirated car. However, a sport exhaust is available if you want to cut the noise. Customers can specify their damping and suspension performance to make the Turbo a better big touring car or a more handling-focused machine. Carbon ceramic brake available for real track mice.

The car itself is “inspired by mid-70s turbochargers,” but Singer uses carbon fiber to reduce weight and create a stiffer overall structure. We’re pretty enamored with the Singer Turbo Study’s look, the whaletail spoiler and all. The singer said that the car it was revealed today is painted in Wolf blue and features Malibu Sand color interior with Black Forest wood trim. If you want a bit of luxury, you can get it by getting heated/electrically adjustable seats and cruise control.

Singer doesn’t specify a starting price for Turbo Study, but if you’re a customer, the company will be happy to provide a starting price for you. Usually, you can work with Singer on any individual requirements for a particular build. Singer says they’ve received more than 70 reservations for these Turbo Study-style on-demand restorations, so it’s clear the best time to queue is a long time ago.
