This is just below Current valuation of TPG 0.84 cents per Marriott Bonvoy point, so it could be a good deal depending on how you redeem your points. The promotion is part of Marriott’s Annual Wonders Week promotionwhere hotel groups offer a number of special offers including discounts on paid and rewarded stays.

You can take advantage of this offer by visiting Marriott Points Purchase Page and buy at least 2,000 points.
If you are new Marriott Bonvoy, note that the terms say you can purchase points 30 days after signing up if your Marriott Bonvoy account has other miles-earning activity from hotel stays or credit card spending . You are eligible to purchase points regardless of your account activity after your account has been open for at least one year.
Additionally, you can only purchase up to 100,000 points per year, although bonus points are not part of this maximum. For example, with this promotion, you can buy 100,000 points and get 50,000 bonus points.

Who should buy Marriott Bonvoy points?
If you have earned a bonus on best Marriott credit cardIt can be tempting to buy points with this discount, but only under the right circumstances.
TPG . Monthly Valuation estimated Marriott points worth 0.84 cents each. So with this promotion you are paying just below our pricing. This can make the promotion a good deal, but only if you plan to use the points instantly to book expensive vacations at a discounted rate.
Remember, Marriott has removed its award rankings early this March. However, it will keep most hotels in the low-to-peak price range until the end of the year, so you can anticipate hotel bookings for the time being. However, the pricing bands will be removed in 2023 and we maybe see prices go up.

The terms of this promotion state that purchasing points with a Marriott Bonvoy-branded credit card will earn points with your daily purchases, so you won’t earn the same rewards points as staying at Marriott.
