I’ve been rounding lately holiday shopping items I was packing my suitcases for a future getaway, very clearly, I was traveling in my mind. I am also thinking of adding some new swimsuits to my wardrobe. There are a lot of interesting pieces already on the market in 2022 and I will bring you some of my favorites. While it’s difficult to pinpoint exactly what swimsuit trends are leading this year, there are some interesting themes that have popped up on my radar.
Floral swimwear is having a moment, with even thinner, minimal straps than what we saw last year. The throwback style is also gaining traction. Chanel notably debuted a ’90s-inspired swimsuit on its S/S 22 runway, so I expect to see even more classics as we get closer to summer. It’s also no surprise that there are so many colourful because it’s one of the key trends for spring 2022.
