Joey Peacock’s Senor Buscador Pre-join on November 5th. Keeneland in the company with a stable friend win shares Sheriff Brown for coach Todd Fincher.
Jockey Francisco Arrieta was on board the Senor Buscador, and Florent Geroux teamed up with Sheriff Brown of Peacock Family Holdings, his mount in the $350,000 Post-Pure Care Coalition (G2) stake in the card. Future Stars Friday, November 4 at Keeneland.
“It was a good job and we got what we wanted,” coach Todd Fincher said. “Senor Buscador started going back about six blocks and got to the target a little faster and caught up with the third.
Senor Buscador completed three long passages in front of his workmate.
“I’m just guessing he went in: 34 and changed from the eighth pole to three quarters,” Fincher said. “Sheriff Brown is better off with a target, but he was hunted today.”
Fincher also trains slam , winner of the Thoroughbred Club of America Stakes (G2) and frontrunner in the Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Sprint (G1). Brad King, Stan Kirby, Suzanne Kirby and Barbara Coleman are scheduled to work on October 28, when the Breeders’ Cup workout action is scheduled to begin. October 29 could be the busiest day for Breeders’ Cup workouts between now and the two-day event.
In other Friday workouts at Keeneland, Michael Dubb and Michael Caruso’s Spicy chili pepper , which was pre-engaged in the Filly & Mare Sprint, made five featherclips by herself in 1:02 1/5. With gymnast Efrain Lopez on board, the Hot Peppers generated fractions: 12 3/4: 24 4/5, :38 and 1:02 1/5 and out six stretches in 1:16 . Coach Rudy Rodriguez is scheduled to be at Keeneland on October 31..
Hunter Valley Farm, Debra O’Connor, and Marc Detampel’s Family Road , which had previously participated in Maker’s Mark Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf (G1T), worked five hooks on the main track at 1:00 on 4/5 for coach Brendan Walsh. The move was the fastest of the seven at the distance this morning.
