Senator Ed Markey Hits Back at Elon Musk After His Answers To Questions About Impersonation

Senator Ed Markey chastised Twitter’s owner, Elon Musk, on Sunday for his reaction to Ask for Markey’s answer about the platform’s new verification and impersonation policies.

After a Washington Post reporter successfully set up fake verified account pretending to be a Massachusetts Democrat, Markey shared a letter to Musk on Twitter Friday asked him to “explain how this happened and how to prevent it from happening again.”
