There was some news yesterday that Sonic Frontiers maybe get some DLCand now the official Sonic the Hedgehog social media account has shared a new image of the upcoming release – teasing fans with the following line:
“Answers await near”
It’s a desert environment that has a giant that appears to be a giant enemy:
While the line is obviously open to interpretation, Gamescom is happening next week and Sonic Frontiers has been confirmed for the event. Geoff Keighley and the official Sonic account have Frontiers has previously confirmed it will have a “world premiere” at Opening Night Live on August 23:
The way Sega is hyping things up at the moment, this might just be the first time fit reveal of the much-anticipated “open-area” Sonic game. According to a recent promotional listing, Sonic Frontiers is likely to arrive in November at the earliest, and is currently scheduled for “holiday 2022.”
