Seacam launches housing for Nikon Z7 II / Z6 II

After a redesign their entire websiteSeacam has revealed its latest Silver case, including the company’s new case for Nikon Z7 II and Z6 II—Which is also compatible with the original Z7 and Z6. Externally identical to the first-generation models (apart from the badges), the 45.7MP photo-oriented Z7 II and 24.5MP video-recording Z6 II boast a faster Exspeed 6 processor that boosts both continuous shooting speed and buffer size, improves autofocus, and allows the camera to shoot internally at up to 4K/60p.

The Seacam Silver case is cast from a salt-water resistant light metal alloy, double-hardened and anodized, and the two cases are held in place using the company’s titanium safety locking system. Premium materials are used throughout, including stainless steel and anodized aluminum buttons and dials, giving full control over the camera’s functions.

Rated up to 260 feet deep, the case features a built-in (but removable) carry handle and a large window for viewing the camera’s LCD monitor. As with native Z-mount lenses, you have the option of using F-mount lenses via Nikon’s FTZ adapter. The case can be configured with an S6 or N5 baffle to trigger strobe, and you have the option of connecting a monitor/recorder via HDMI. Seacam leak detectors come standard, with vacuum valves and pumps to be purchased separately.

The house is priced at €4350 (excluding shipping, taxes and customs duties) on the Seacam website and it is available in the US from Backscatter.
