Saturday’s Full Media Draft Pick: NFL DFS Squad Advice for Cowboys-Eagles, Chiefs-Broncos Week 18 Tournaments

The Broncos host the Chiefs and the Eagles host the Cowboys during Saturday’s Week 18 appetizer. Every team except Denver has representation on our roster, as the Captain remains one of the hottest defenses in the league despite last week’s penalty shootout loss and we don’t expect Broncos do Drew Lock leadership will produce any high quality individual. DFS representation. If one or more Broncos had a field day, we wouldn’t do well here, but we’re willing to bet that. Our main DraftKings picks for Saturday include some low-profile, high-potential RBs that will hopefully help us avoid a bland roster for GPP tournaments.

Before we break down our picks, here are the most notable scoring rules for DraftKings contests: Full point PPR, TDs pass four points, three point bonus because the 100 yards rush, 100 yards receive, and 300 yards pass.

WEEK 18 USE DFS: FanDuel | DraftKings | Yahoo!

Seventh Media Full Draft Selection: Cowboys vs. Eagles; Chiefs vs. Broncos

Budget $50,000

QB Jalen Hurts, Eagles vs. Cowboys ($6,300)

The Eagles have officially earned their post-season foothold with a win last week against Team Soccer despite a modest final result from the Hurts. However, he scored 29.6 and 30.8 in DraftKings recently. Even in the Eagles’ first game against the Cowboys where they were completely defeated, the Hurts scored a 25.5 DK-point. For now, we think he’ll start and play the majority of the game, but we’ll be open to a rotation if it’s announced that Hurts won’t be playing much, if at all.

WEEK 18 DFS: The best stack | Squad Builder

RB Darrel Williams, Chiefs @ Broncos ($5,900)

Williams had three 20-plus performances, including 32.4 against the Raiders in Week 10. Re-run captains Clyde Edwards-Helaire (as) missed Tuesday’s practice, but head coach Andy Reid thinks he still has a “chance” to play. It’s worth keeping an eye on Edwards-Helaire’s status throughout the week, but Williams would be in a good position if given another full load of work.

RB Kenneth Gainwell, Eagles vs. Cowboys ($4,100)

Gainwell had just 85 touchdowns during the season, though that total is fifth on the team. The Eagles have a lot of their top players on the COVID list. In the event that some or all of them – including Boston Scott, Jordan Howard and Dallas Goedert – are forced to sit on the bench on Saturday, Gainwell will have a chance to put together another solid performance. He’s scored twice as many DK points four times this season.

SATURDAY DFS GAME ONLY:
KC-DEN FD | KC-DEN DK | DAL-PHI FD | DAL-PHI DK

WR Tireek Hill, Chiefs @ Broncos ($8,000)

With the Captains still fighting for the conference’s top seed and bye-bye to the first round, Hill and the others are less likely to be placed under the bubble halfway through the competition. Hill has picked up 35 DK points plus three times this season, and he’s always been a threat to put up a flamboyant number.

WR CeeDee Lamb, Cowboys @ Eagles ($6,800)

Lamb leads the Cowboys in goals and uptake, trends that are expected to continue in the rest of their competitions (including post-season). Michael Gallup’s torn ACL ushered in part of the team’s passing game, and while others will need to step up to fill the void, Lamb will likely take over some of that slack as well. .

SATURDAY DFS FULL-SLATE: FanDuel

WR Devonta Smith, Eagle vs Cowboy ($6,100)

Smith’s 100 goals lead the Eagles, and number 2 in that division, Dallas Goedert, may not be active due to COVID. Smith has had a solid rookie season, passing 15 FD points five times. If the Eagles don’t have some of their key offensive players, Smith’s mass can be expected to increase – assuming he plays close to the full range of snaps.

TE Dalton Schultz, Cowboys @ Eagles ($5,300)

Schultz is hitting the top 10 goals of the season, and he’s second on the team with 101 overall. He took advantage of that volume all season, but especially towards the end of the season when he eclipsed 20-point control twice in the past three games.

MORE WEEK 18 DFS: The best stack | Best value | Squad Builder

FLEX (WR) Cedrick Wilson, Cowboys @ Eagles ($4,200)

Wilson is one of the players who will need to focus after Gallup’s season-end ACL injury. He scored 18.7 DK points on Sunday and has four 10-plus finishes during the season, and he’s set for another solid day of work.

DEF Director @ Broncos ($3,100)

The captains have defended extensively in recent weeks, allowing 34 points against the Bengals on Sunday and 28 against the Chargers in Week 15. They have still scored at least 12 DK points in three of their past five years, including 17 points the last time they faced the Broncos.
