Salesforce tells employees they’re working on a cloud service NFT

Sales force told employees at the launch of the sale on Wednesday that the company plans to release NFT Cloud, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

NFT (non-fungible token) is the only digital asset stored using blockchain technology. They were already successful in the art and collectibles worlds, and Salesforce saw an opportunity to bring the technology into enterprise software.

Shares of Salesforce rose 1.5% in extended trading Wednesday to $225.40. Shares are down 13% this year to close.
