Treadway Racing Stable’s Kentucky Cross Sail By will pursue the second stakes score of her career as part of a second-year full complement field in the $150,000 Pebbles Stakes (G3T) competition on September 18 away. a mile across the patio at Belmont at the Big A fall meeting.
Trained by Leah Gyarmati, Sail By was the sad winner of last year’s Miss Grillo Stakes (G2T) contest in October at Belmont Parkbeat the ultimate winner level 1 McKulick . Sail By, a daughter of the bay Astern has a field-leading earnings of $223,900 and a 2-1-3 record in eight starts.
This season, Sail By registered the black category as it finished in third place in terms of speed setting behind the next winner. Consumer Spending and Pizza Bianca in Memories of Silver Stakes April 24 at the Aqueduct before rounding up the trilogy in Soaring Softly Stakes (G3T) a month later at Belmont Park. She entered the Pebbles with a tough sixth in a 1 1/16-mile Lake Placid Stakes (G2T) on Aug. 20 at Racecourse Saratoga.
“She’s doing great. She came out of that race in good shape. “At halftime, she was a little awkward as she raised her head in the air. She rose to second very early on and then somewhat underperformed there. Hopefully this time we’ll have more luck.”

Coach Chad Brown, four-time Pebbles winner, will send out a trio of fillings, including Peter Brant’s Gina Romantica , who won the Riskaverse Restricted Bet last time on August 25 in Saratoga. Daughter of Into Mischief made his debut on the pitch in the Riskaverse, making 10 lengths from eighth to record his third career win while the Spring fell 14-1. Debut winner in March on main track at Tampa Bay DownsGina Romantica beat the winners on the main Belmont track two months later.

Klaravich’s barn Faith in humanity , placed second in the Riskaverse, will begin her third career for Brown. Before placing the stake, the French-born daughter of Lope de Vega was the first winner on July 24th in Monmouth Park pitch.

The Bahamas Club , also owned by Brant, will launch her shares following a one-mile support for the option claim point on August 12 in Saratoga. Half-Irish King bet is defeated Diamond hand with a nose in her last attempt.

Coach Christophe Clement has entered a pair of contestants in the Moyglare Stud Farm Lia’s Marina and Reeves Thoroughbred Racing and RA Hill Stable’s Breeze Easy . Both are looking to recover from falling out of place in their most recent starts in staking.
Hall of Famer Todd Pletcher, two-time Pebbles winner, will be represented by My Racehorse Stable and the Farm’s #1 ranked Spendthrift Farm A Mo Reay and Doreen Tabor’s Magnificent Glory .
