Russell Wilson declines to report past Seahawks commercial efforts

Before picking up a finger injury midway through the 2021 season, Wilson hadn’t missed a regular season for Seattle from 2012-20. He finished last season with 3,113 passing yards, 25 touchdowns, six interceptions and a quarterback 103.1 intercept, completing 64.8% of his throws. Wilson also scored 183 yards of dash and two hits to the ground.

Denver is about to have a 7-10 campaign and its sixth straight season of being absent from the knockout stages. The Broncos fire head coach Vic Fangio after three seasons in favor of the former Green Bay Packers attack coordinator Nathaniel Hackett. Furthermore, after trading for Wilson, the Broncos expanded Wilson, 33, over a 5-year contract, $245 million.

Seattle, on the other hand, is going through a 7-10 season of its own, but with Carroll entering its 13th season as head coach. Geno Smithwho is entering his fourth season with the organization, will receive the nod in midfield.
