In case you didn’t know, it’s a remake of the 1999 PlayStation JRPG. More and more reviews of the game are now starting to appear online, and so we’ve put together a bunch of reviews. there.

Siliconera praise the game, award 10/10:
“CHRONO CROSS is a role-playing game that transcends time and space, opening two parallel worlds that are linked together. With more than 40 members meeting, people and dimensions will intertwine in the film. This epic about the planet itself. Chrono Cross has always been an essential JRPG, and this remaster of The Radical Dreamers Edition makes it even more important.”

“The parts of Chrono Cross haven’t really aged, but it’s still a charming, characterful JRPG that evokes a sense of the genre’s golden age on PS1. It’s a game more worthy than The Radical. Dreamers Edition was, at least at launch, a horribly underwhelming remaster crippled by frame rate issues, it was believed a title from 1999 could run so badly on hardware. Unless you’re craving nostalgia, we strongly recommend waiting to see if Square Enix releases a patch for the bundle improvement on PS4 and PS5 before purchasing.”
Wccftech gave it 4.5/10:
“The frame rate is crippling, always fluctuating 15-20 FPS in battles, only exacerbated by providing players with the ability to slow and fast forward gameplay without having to end the game. finish the game first.
