RON97 petrol prices updated for the week of August 3, 2022 – premium petrol reduced five sen to RM4.35/liter
That’s Wednesday, which means another weekly fuel price update, with the Treasury Department releasing the latest retail fuel prices for the week of August 18-24, 2022.
The downtrend in prices from recent weeks continues, with RON 97 petrol prices once again dropping, this time to RM4.35/litre, down five sen from RM4.40/litre at last week.
Of course there is no change in the price of RON 95 gasoline – this fuel continues at limited price was RM 2.05 per liter as per government regulation last February. Likewise, the price of diesel, continues at ceiling price RM2.15/liter for Euro 5 B10 and B20 blends, and RM2.35 per liter in the case of Euro 5 B7.
These fuel prices will be in effect from midnight tonight until Wednesday, August 24, when the next set of fuel prices will be announced. This is the 34th edition of weekly fuel price format for this year and 188th in total since its introduction in 2019.
