RON97 gasoline price update week June 4, 2024 – premium gasoline price unchanged; RM3.47 per liter
It’s Wednesday and it’s time once again for the weekly retail fuel price update in Malaysia, with the Ministry of Finance having announced these prices for next week from 20 to 26 June 2024.
The most recent and important update has arrived June 10 when fuel subsidy rationalization for diesel fuel begansaw fuel retail prices at RM3.35/litre in Peninsular Malaysia for mainstream Euro 5 diesel and RM3.55/litre for B7 Euro 5. does not affect the retail price of diesel fuel in East Malaysiacontinuing at RM2.15/liter and RM2.35/liter for main grade and B7 respectively.
As for gasoline fuel, the RON 97 grade remains the same as before at RM3.47/litre, unchanged from its price last weekwhile RON 95 gasoline continued to level ceiling price of RM2.05/liter set by the Malaysian government in February 2021.
These fuel prices will be in effect from midnight tonight until Wednesday 26 June 2024, when the next set of fuel price updates will be published. This is the 25th edition of the weekly fuel pricing format this year and the 284th edition since the format was introduced in early 2019.
