Major League Baseball said on Wednesday that the league had canceled more of its regular games for the season, pushing back the opening date to at least April 14 as negotiations between the federation and the league’s owners fight continues.

“We have worked hard to reach an agreement and deliver a fair deal with significant improvements for our players and fans.
