Rich Dollaz speaks out after the arrest of his daughter

Rich Dollaz is breaking his silence and speaking out about his daughter’s recent arrest Ashley Trowers. On an exclusive TSR show, Rich addresses allegations of domestic violence that occurred during Ashley’s previous relationship with her child’s father, Demiah Tatum, before she shot him on January 24.

The “Love and Hip Hop” star said Ashley moved out of her home with Demiah and their baby, and there was a restraining order against him for a while. Rich shared they don’t know how Demiah found out Ashley was working at Kroger.

“I was just as confused as anyone else,” he detailed. The reality star and music executive clarified his daughter lives in Memphis and he lives in Dallas, and revealed that he learned about the arrest when Ashley’s mother, Miracle Hall, contact. “I’m not with Ashley every day,” he explained. Rich addressed negative comments about Ashley working at Kroger and said it was commendable that she wanted to work and “didn’t call dad for everything”.

He explained: “My daughter is about 20 years old, has a new baby living with her man and she is an adult. I found out Ashley was working at Kroger at the same time as everyone else.” He also shared that his daughter is an aspiring rapper and has used part-time work to fund her career. “I don’t think there’s anything wrong with my daughter wanting to do it herself.”

While talking about Ashley, he shared that the new mother is shaking but she is no longer in prison. He advised his daughter to “do what has to be done for her sanity and safety”. “I don’t accept shooting, I don’t accept violence, I don’t accept anything like that,” he said firmly. “But in the end, I would never be okay if a man laid his hand on my baby.”

He stated, “It is never a good thing to get involved in a situation where a man is getting his hands on you. We asked Rich how long Ashley was in a relationship with Demiah, because of the alleged domestic violence that happened prior to filing the restraining order, but he had no idea. “Ashley is a grown woman. She’s not a 17-year-old living under my roof. She is not an 18 year old. She is no longer in college. She’s graduated, she’s done all that, she’s on her own,” Rich detailed.

While talking about domestic violence, he expressed that many women don’t tell people what is happening if there is a possibility that the woman might get back with the man. When it came to Ashley, he said, “Sometimes you don’t tell your dad those things.” He also added that he felt Ashley wasn’t telling her because she was trying to protect Demiah.

Before we wrap up our conversation, Rich also mentions comments about Ashley following in the footsteps of her mother, Miracle. If you remember, in 2018, Miracle was arrested for allegedly shooting her husband to death. She claimed self-defense, and the aggravated assault case was eventually dismissed.

“It was a domestic violence situation with Miracle, like it was with Ashley. These two women have defended themselves, and I will always stand by them. Like when Miracle shot her husband, I was on her side and I want to be on my daughter’s side.”
