DJI recently released the Avatar and it made a big splash around town. So, how did this experienced drone pilot get to fly the DJI Avatar for the first time?
I am currently entering the drone market because I think that, although they are increasingly popular, they still give viewers the opportunity to see landscapes that may be familiar to them from a complete perspective. totally unique. Sure, drones are not new and the novelty may have worn off for some, but my thinking behind owning a drone is that the still image capabilities remain. a lot is untapped, especially where I live. Here, most of the drone pilots just shoot videos, which they upload to Instagram and the like, so I think there’s still a gap to explore. For that reason, I’m researching every drone out there.
And that brings us to this amazing video by Jake Sloan in which he reviews his first experience flying the newly released plane. DJI Avatar. Sloan is a very experienced drone pilot, so it was interesting to see his first reaction when he put on the goggles (called Goggles 2) that came with the DJI Avatar. To say that his reaction and synopsis of Goggles 2 was enthusiastic and positive would be understatement. But what about his flying experience?
