Earlier this year, I started feeding my dog ​​fresh dog food. It was a decision that was heavily considered. Based on what I read, fresh dog food is best for my dogs, especially since I have been feeding them crumbs for the first four years. My dogs are a huge part of my family. And like my family, I try to give them the best. But I know that although the food I am feeding them is rated well, it is not the best. My daughter, Sandy, is a bit heavy, and my boy, Scout, has recurring skin problems that my vet thinks may be caused by his food. That’s enough for me. I finally decided what the options were. Highlights of My Dog’s Journey with Nom Nom Food

This journey is nothing short of amazing. Initially, I saw small, subtle changes. But after the first month, things really started to happen!

Day 1 – Start!

Food arrived yesterday. It’s time to unbox and get started. I was very pleased with the way it was packaged – ice cold – huge when you are dealing with fresh, human-grade ingredients. I ordered all 4 recipes: Heartland Beef Mash, Tasty Turkey Fare, Chicken Cuisine and Porkalicious Potluck. For the first week, I will feed my dogs a 50/50 . mix Nom Nom their regular food and feed. This helps their bellies adapt to the new food. I have to say, I’m really pleased with 1) the mini bags that are 50% pre-split and 2) the labels on these bags which note that they are for the transition period. The food smells and looks delicious. Like something I would eat!

Now that we’ve fully transitioned, I thought it would be interesting to show you a side-by-side comparison of the foods you get. Nom Nom. So many times the pictures we see online are not like what we actually get. Now, I’m not a photographer and took this photo with my phone, but I think it’s fine. You are the judge. I was quite impressed with the quality and appearance of the food.

Day 15 – Puppy love

Both dogs certainly seem to be energized. Dog breed. They are only 5 years old, but I have noticed they bond around, wrestle and play together more. More. It’s actually quite fun to watch.

DAY 35

Just a few days ago, my dogs and I went to the vet for a follow-up visit after 30 days. Things continue to look positive. An important development: after communicating with Nom Nom regarding Sandy and her extra weight, Nom Nom The group reduced her serving size — and they reduced the price, too! This really impressed me. This is definitely not a mindless, faceless dog food company. The fact that they customized her meal plan really demonstrates the level of science and care behind this.

DAY 57

Take your dogs to the vet today for a checkup. He was quite surprised, noting how great they looked – especially their coats. He also notes that Sandy looks much healthier. This was confirmed when he put her on the scale. She has lost more than 6 pounds since starting Nom Nom. I did not expect these kind of results! Scout also lost 2 pounds, and while he didn’t really need to lose weight, he is now super fit.

Day 65 – Ongoing support from Nom Nom Dog Food

After her last vet visit, Sandy still needed to lose a few pounds. Experts at Nom Nom developed a plan to achieve this goal. We all know being overweight is not good. It increases the risk of bone problems and a myriad of other health problems – not to mention reduced activity levels due to lack of energy. It’s a vicious circle. Tackling her weight now, while she’s still young, will make a huge difference now and as she gets older.

Day 80 With Fresh Nom Nom Dog Food

About 6 months ago, I bought a robot vacuum to help fight dog hair. No matter what I do, there always seem to be clumps of hair floating around like webs. Today, my daughter noticed that there seems to be less dog hair lately. She was right! I know healthier coats are a perk of a healthy dog ​​diet, but I’ve never seen this as a Nom Nom bonus. While I’m not a vet and can’t definitively say it’s food, I can say that after more than 5 years of living with furry animals (which I love) it sheds less. Healthy coat = less shedding? Means to me.

Why didn’t I do this sooner?

If you’ve ever been at a point in your life where you ate right, slept well, exercised and generally lived well, you’ll understand how my pups feel right now. If only Nom Nom could get my diet on track! After all, it is also the human level…

The changes I’ve seen in the last 6 months have been amazing. I know I’m doing everything I can to make my dogs’ lives as healthy and long as possible. Their quality of life has improved significantly, which I consider Nom Nom.
