The Japanese YouTube Channel because the The Genshin effect posted a 15-minute interview with Reina Ueda, the voice of Ganyu. Her interview has spoilers for Archon Quest Chapter 2. Before starting to talk about Ganyu, she spent quite a bit of time talking about how adorable the Raiden Shogun is.

Ueda says that Ganyu must feel lonely, due to her status as half Adeptus. But she still wants to help those around her and has a bit of power. According to Ueda, it’s hard to adjust how serious Ganyu sounds to best portray her unique forgetfulness. Ueda said that Ganyu has a cute personality, and the two are similar in that they don’t like to talk. She also gave Ganyu’s advice strength in battle. Although Ueda doesn’t have a Ganyu yet, she notes that she has Amos’ Bow and is anticipating the next Ganyu rerun banner.
