David Vetter is among a number of so-called journalists affiliated with the Columbia University climate news group: Including climate right now. Now, Michael Mann is certainly a well-known name – but not for any major strides in his field. The joke was that Vetter called Mann “America’s top climate scientist”. Mann is a leading voice of climate alarmism but not exactly a scientist in my opinion. Much of his result is self-promotion and attacks on other scientists who disagree with his brand of Radical Climateism – he attacks anyone even slightly disagree with the political statements and solutions issued by the IPCC.
Mann complained that a video featuring William Happer, made in two thousand and thirteen, available on YouTube. Vetter (writing in Forbes) said “Happer, who is not a climate scientist, claimed that global warming appeared to have stopped in 1998 – a claim that later research refuted and NOAA deconstructed in a Q&A”.
