Nintendo Switch is having a Puzzle with dragons called, appropriately enough, Puzzle & Dragons Nintendo Switch Edition. This will be a more direct adaptation of the original game. It will be playable both handheld and docked. There will also be Mission, PvP and Custom modes.
Mission Mode is typical Puzzle with dragons fare. You create teams of monsters. Then you take them through puzzles in 16 dungeons. If you have someone willing to stay nearby, one to three other people can join you. The PVP mode features NPCs and real-world people to battle. There are Friends and World combo options here. As for the Custom mode, it will allow anyone to create a dungeon. You set how they look and the monsters inside. In addition to making your own, you can challenge others to create.
This is really the second time Puzzle with dragons game to display on the system. First is Puzzle & Dragons Gold. Instead of a more direct adaptation of the original game, it is a more competitive game. It involves a campaign with two stories and preset teams and the option to create custom teams and play against others online.
Puzzle & Dragons Nintendo Switch Edition will come to the system on February 19, 2022. It will cost $4.37 on eShop.
