On the X50 demo, Atlas OS offers a wide selection of themes, wallpapers and screensavers – like on a smartphone – in addition to phone mirroring and vehicle status display. First announced last year, entertainment content is provided by music streaming service Joox as well as Astro’s Syok platform.

Today’s Atlas OS launch event also saw the announcement of a strategic partnership between ACO Tech and a number of parties including UOB Malaysia, Five Petroleum Malaysia (Five) and Fass Payment Solutions (Fasspay).
The joint venture aims to integrate existing ecosystem and in-car connectivity services for business partners into one platform, where Atlas Pay – powered by Fasspay – will allow users to make payments. securely pay and transact without leaving their vehicle.
Through a partnership with UOB Malaysia and Fasspay, ACO Tech will launch an in-car digital wallet system and an in-car payment system that will be available in the fourth quarter of this year.
