What is Potion Craft?
Potion Craft is an alchemist simulation game where you play as an aspiring alchemist, physically interacting with your tools and ingredients to concoct magical potions in your shop. Take orders from your shop visitors, explore the alchemy map to discover new recipes, and craft the legendary Sorcerer’s Stone to become a master alchemist!
Your main task is to make different types of concoctions using tools such as cauldron, mortar and pestle, bellows and ladle. Every day, your townsfolk will come to your shop – each looking for a solution to their problem. You need to listen and understand their needs to make the most suitable medicine for them.
Don’t forget to use your bartering skills before handing over the goods. You work hard, so bargain for every gold coin! The bargaining mechanism allows you to chat about various topics with your customers to negotiate the best price. But be careful, and don’t be greedy! The more complicated the topic, the better chance your interlocutor has to flip the scale in their favor!
Think carefully about who you sell to and what you sell to them, as every decision affects your store’s reputation. The better your store’s reputation, the kinder (and nobler) your customers will be. However, if you run a shady business, you will be visited more often by unkind people…with equally nasty demands! It’s up to you whether you want to be a kind healer and friendly witch or you want to do business with outlaws and witches as a dark warrior.
Learn the art of making medicine
Leaves, flowers, berries, roots, fruits, minerals, salts, crystals and lots of mushrooms are available in your mortar and pestle! Ingredients can be found in the Enchanted Garden or purchased from different guests in your shop, such as the shy but charming Herbalist, the Wandering Trader who is always ready to offer you something , The talkative and quirky mushroom grower, etc.
By experimenting with different ingredients, you can go around the alchemy map and discover new potion effects. You can even combine them to make your potion really special. Just be sure to use a little common sense when combining effects; We don’t think that a toxic cure-all will have a buyer… or do we?
When you find the perfect recipe for a particular potion, you can save it in your diary to make it easily in one go. You can also customize your potions by changing the bottle’s shape, label, color and symbol, as well as creating unique descriptions for each! Experiment with your heart’s content!
The sandbox gameplay style offers different progression paths and you have to figure out the best way to complete each mission. Will you be a noble craftsman, a greedy weasel or a mystical dark master? The fate of the alchemist is entirely up to you in Potion Craft!
