Peugeot Landtrek 2023 launched in Malaysia – the only Allure 1.9D variant; RM120k OTR no insurance
Bermaz Auto has launched Peugeot mountain bike for today’s Malaysian market, after preview in January this yearand the model comes in a single Allure 1.9D variant priced from RM120.072 on the road uninsured.
Sharing the platform with Changan Kaicene F70, Peugeot Landtrek arranges a double cabin in Malaysia equipped with a 1.9-liter in-line 4-cylinder engine, producing 150 horsepower at 4,000 rpm and torque. 350 Nm of torque from 1,800 rpm to 2,800 rpm. rpm. Output is sent to a six-speed automatic transmission, which drives all four wheels.
The powertrain offers a choice of high-range 2WD, high-range 4WD and low-range 4WD with electronic controls operated by a rotary knob; rear axle combined with a mechanical locking rear differential. The headlights are LED type with auto function along with LED daytime running lights, while the front fog lights, rear lights and rear fog lights are projector lamps. Rain-sensing windshield wipers are standard, as are power-adjustable and folding exterior mirrors with integrated indicator lights, keyless entry, roof rails and side sills. The exterior door handles are chromed, while in terms of parking sensors, there are two in the front and four in the rear.
Inside, Landtrek’s upholstery has only one option of leatherette, with both front seats 6-way power adjustable with 2-way adjustable lumbar support while the rear seats can be folded 60: 40. The multifunction steering wheel is wrapped in leather and the steering column is adjustable for tilt and reach.
The instrument cluster integrates a 4.2-inch color screen, while the 10-inch touchscreen infotainment head unit supports voice commands, along with smartphone connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. . Along with FM and AM radio, the head unit supports Bluetooth for audio playback and telephony, while the others are powered by three USB ports. The safety kit on the only Landtrek variant at launch includes a lane departure warning system, as well as downhill assist and hill start assist; The basic set of electronic stability systems includes ABS, EBD with brake assist, stability control and anti-slip adjustment.
As for passive safety, there are driver and front passenger airbags, front side airbags as well as front and rear curtain airbags.
