Perodua Axia Electric Developed by EV Innovations MyKar – 220 km range, 4 hours for AC charging
Remember that was developed and built locally MyKar . Tram from Malaysian startup Improved EV airing in 2020? The same company is back with it, but this time with a new prototype based on the Perodua Axia!
Revealed via a TikTok video (so 2022, right?) Below, the Perodua Axia Electric prototype is said to have a range of 220 km, with a charge time of 4 hours. The Type 2 charging port is almost hidden behind the Axia’s fuel tank cap, which is a nice touch.
Inside, the prototype is fitted with a large Android head unit to display various parameters of the EV, while a small Jaguar-style dial in the center is used to select driving modes. Unfortunately that’s all we have about it right now – we’ll try to provide more information sooner, so stay tuned.
