OH! Stylists claim Mellow Rackz cheated them out of designer items

“Never lend someone What? you need right behind.” Champagne Papi says it best!Unfortunately, two stylists are having to learn the hard way after they lent their clothes to rapper Mellow Rackz and allegedly did not receive all the items in return. According to the NY Post, Charles Reynolds and Xavier Banks received 52 pieces of clothing worth $35,306 from luxury fashion retailer Dover Street Market on April 14. These items are intended to be consigned for purchase by their customer, Hennessey Carolina,” according to a Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit filed last week.

However, things did not turn out that way. The stylists agreed to buy or return the garment by April 21 but instead gave some of the pieces to rapper Melody “Mellow Rackz” Faith to wear to the recent Coachella festival. Nearly a week later, Mellow Rackz returned six items to the upscale Kips Bay store, and four were damaged, Dover Street Market announced.

The petition against the stylist shows that Master Money signed it allegedly refused to return or pay for large quantities of designer items. Charles told the NY Post, “Mellow Rackz is the one who stole the clothes.” He also added that he had kept an attorney and filed a police action against her. The stylist’s representative also spoke out in a statement. “Mellowracks is really scamming her way to the top and using whoever she can. He says celebrity stylists Charles Reynolds and Xavier Banks are her latest victims,” he said. He continued, “The celebrity style group was sued by Dover Street Group for not returning the clothes they made to Mellowrackz. The rapper pretended she was going into the room to sort out the clothes and decide what she wanted to wear to Coachella leaving Banks and Reynolds at the rehearsal, never to come back with those clothes.”

Stylist Ezra Salami’s attorney confirmed in May that legal notices were sent to Mellow Rackz and her management, but they went unanswered and the couple. So stylists are now planning to sue the Florida rapper. The stylists still have not returned or paid for 49 damaged and undelivered parts totaling $34,331 for Dover Street Group.

Also, no Mellow Rackz and Hennessey Carolina was named as the defendant in the lawsuit. Roommate, who do you think is at fault?
