Fujifilm’s XF 56mm f/1.2 lens has long been one of the most popular portrait lenses available today. However, Sigma lenses have recently appeared for XF shooters, creating a new selection for X Series shooters, including the 56mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary lens. So how to compare the two options? This excellent comparison video looks at both to help you choose the right one for you.
Coming to you from Gordon LaingThis great video review compares to the new one Sigma 56mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary popular lenses Fujifilm XF 56mm f/1.2 CHEAP. The Sigma lens costs half the price of the Fujifilm option, making it an attractive choice, and both offer the same classic 85mm (equivalent) focal length. Overall, both lenses are great options for Fujifilm photographers, and whichever lens you choose, I’m really excited to see Sigma expanding their lens lineup to new mount types. The company is known for producing quality lenses at very affordable prices, and that has always helped put pressure on other manufacturers to constantly innovate and produce new and exciting glasses. Hopefully we’ll see Sigma expand into even more mount types soon! Check out the video above for Laing’s full thoughts on both lenses.
