Nunez decides on Fierro in high octane deal

16-0 featherweight competitor Luis Nunez opened Showtime’s Benavidez-Lemieux card Saturday night in Glendale, Arizona, by facing Jonathan Fierro 13-0 in a scheduled 10th round. Each man looked a little nervous for the first time before joining the flow of the fight. The second time, an accidental headshot caused Nunez to bleed from the right side of his face. Tuesday was an early shootout, with each man having his moments. However, Nunez was able to land effectively while using solid defenses. Nunez rocked his men at the end of the fourth round, though Fierro was able to survive the round.
Although he looked like he was in the back, Fierro landed and landed well in the fifth installment, it looks like he may have hurt Nunez. The man definitely has a strong bust. Has he done enough to turn the tide? Things get back to tight on Friday. Nunez continued to make good results in the seventh inning, although Fierro continued to play. The speed of the bout of high energy begins to affect every man in season eight. However, the warriors are ready to join when necessary. Fierro gave Nunez different looks in season nine while looking for a clean landing. The tenth and final inning saw Nunez take down more substantial hits, putting an end to a high-octane affair.
The referees rewarded Nunez with a unanimous decision win.
