Now You Can Blast a Great Gjallarhorn in Destiny 2 and IRL

LifeIts most iconic weapon, the Gjallarhorn rocket launcher, is making a comeback. “Gjally”, as it is affectionately called, dominated the original Life after being introduced in 2014, but still missing so far Fate 2. Until now.

Bungie, LifeGjally’s developers are bringing Gjally back to celebrate the company’s 30th anniversary. Rocket launchers are now available in Fate 2 if you buy Bungie 30th Anniversary Package.

Bungie also teamed up with Nerf to release a special edition Nerf LMTD Gjallarhorn blaster to celebrate. Announced today and available to pre-order next year, Gjallarhorn’s version of Nerf probably won’t launch a tracking missile that will make your enemies regret challenging you in the first place, but it certainly does. will look very impressive in your hand.

I asked the team responsible for Gjally’s return how they plan to bring it back in an interesting way, how Nerf gets into the picture, and if they have any special memories of the original Gjallarhorn (or whatever they notice when testing new images they want to share).

First of all, if you play the original Life, you might know how, even though Gjally shows up early, it wasn’t until year 2 that people knew exactly how powerful rocket launchers were — to the point where, in some cases, the player insist that teammates have once attempted to delete the game over.

Rocket launchers become loved, hated and feared in PVP and PVE activities. While the team protested when I asked about whether the new Gjallarhorn was as powerful as its predecessor, the team gave some other great details about its introduction with Fate 2.

First, I asked why on Bungie’s 30th anniversary the team decided to bring Gjally back. Some popular Life Weapons have found new life in Fate 2, but why is it Gjally’s turn now?

“One of the main goals for the 30th anniversary was to bring iconic weapons from Bungie’s history to life. Fate 2, Brandon, a designer working on Fate 2 who requested to omit his last name for privacy reasons. “This is also the perfect opportunity, because having a dedicated release for Gjally and other iconic weapons allows us to put a lot of heart into updating the visuals, sound, and design.” of weapons for Fate 2. ”

The Nerf LMTD Gjallarhorn blaster certainly looks impressive.
