Shares of northern fell on Thursday, after the department store chain said it was hit by weak sales and lots of holiday season discounts.
The retailer said net sales fell 3.5% during the nine-week holiday period ended December 31 compared with the same period a year ago. Net sales fell 1.7% for the eponymous banner and 7.6% for the discount banner, Nordstrom Rack.
