Technical regulations
Non-fossil fuel
As announced by the Grand Prix Commission, from 2024, all Grand Prix Classes will be required to use fuel with a minimum of 40% of non-fossil origin.
This percentage will be increased to 100% for the 2027 season.
Exact specifications for FIM MotoGP fuel characteristics from 2024 to at least 2026 have now been agreed and they will be announced later.

Long Lap fine route

MotoGP Class Test Restrictions
Realizing the impact of the increased number of events, an agreement was reached between the teams and Michelin to reduce the number of official testing days allowed for the MotoGP class. The revision check program is:

An official 3-day test, after the winter testing ban and before the first event of the season.
An official 2 day test, after the winter testing ban and before the first event of the season.
Two official 1-day tests on the Monday or Tuesday following the GP event at circuits and dates agreed upon by the teams and Dorna/IRTA.
The Best Grand Prix of 2021
