NIS America unveils new logo ahead of 20th anniversary – Destructoid
(Very) early preparations for the big day of NIS America
2023 will see NIS America celebrate its 20th anniversary, and it’s been 20 years of weird teaser sites and video games about murderous kids. In preparation for a new decade of localization and imports, the studio/publisher gave itself a new websitecomplete with an accompanying logo.
The new branding is not much different from the previous logo of NIS America, retaining the extensive sumi-e “wash in ink” effect, referring to the traditional Japanese art style. However, the tones were removed, replaced with thicker lettering and the complete removal of the word “America”. The new website has a similar color scheme, with a solid color accent.
The new logo, effective immediately, will be used to brand all future NIS America products. Admittedly it seems a bit early in the day to prepare for the celebration, (that’s some *test notes* for another 21 months), but it’s clear the NIS is eager to put its new look into the psyche industry as they engage in the next decade of business.
