  • Antonio Gibson, WFT at Raiders (DK: $5,700 | FD: $6,200): 22.4
  • Elijah Mitchell, 49ers at the Seahawks (DK: $6,000 | FD: $7,600): 17.4
  • Hunter Renfrow, Raiders vs. WFT (DK: $5,800 | FD: $6,400): 19.2
  • Jaylen Waddle, Dolphin vs Giant (DK: $6,400 | FD: $6,900): 18.0

NFL Week 14 DFS Picks: QB Sleepers, Value for DraftKings, FanDuel

Cam Newton, Panthers vs. Falcons (DK: $5,400 | FD: $7,400)

I totally understand if you’re a little gun-shy with Newton, who experienced his worst game as an NFL player the last time he was on the field in Week 12. But hear me out: Coach Panthers head coach Matt Rhule recently fired offensive coordinator Joe Brady, Carolina will have a much-needed goodbye week, and Newton will have a home game against a fearsome Falcons defense in this week. There’s nothing to go from a fantasy performance of 8.18 points that up, right? Atlanta offered the third fantasy score in the NFL to the QBs this season, and it only allowed Tom Brady to complete 38 368-yard passes and four touchdowns. Newton won’t sniff out such numbers, but he should be able to get close to the 26-point mark he hit in Week 11 against Washington.

Taylor Heinicke, Washington vs. Cowboys (DK: $5,500 | FD: $7,100)

Heinicke and WFT are among the better stories of the second half of the 2021 NFL season, and it’s hard not to take root in them at this point. They quietly won four games in a row and placed themselves right in the NFC wild card chase. Now Heinicke and Ron Rivera’s team welcomes a secondary cowboy who has built a reputation for an all-or-nothing approach. Dallas leads the league in defensive interceptions, but it also ranks 28th in passes allowed. I expect we’ll see more targets on the way in pursuit of Antonio Gibson, who has been explosive since he’s fit, and hopefully some deep shots to widen Terry McLaurin. Sportsbooks is giving Washington an implied total of 22 points, and Heinicke would have to put up about 17.6 of his average for that to happen. The Cowboys rank 27th in points allowed for QB, so I expect Heine to finish closer to 20.

Baker Mayfield, Browns vs. Ravens (DK: $5,200 | FD: $6,500)

Mayfield has been ill for weeks now, so Cleveland’s goodbye to Week 13 was essential. Now the Browns are welcome to a Ravens team that ranks 25th in fantasy points allowed for the QB slot. I think this is going to be more of a fuel-powered game, but I like Mayfield’s cap if you need someone in the low-$5,000 price range. He’s not hopeless – he has four games with at least 16 fantasy points – and he has a history of playing well against divisional foes. I admit this is a dart game, but try at the free milli or cheap item makers if you want high reward/potential risk.

WEEK 14 STANDARD RANKING:
Midfielder | Run back | Wide receiver | Tight ending | VND / ST | Kicker

NFL Week 14 DFS Picks: RB Sleep, Value for DraftKings, FanDuel

Josh Jacobs, Raiders at Chiefs (DK: $6,200 | FD: $7,100)

Jacobs has excelled over the past few weeks, putting together a 43.2 PPR score over the Cowboys and WFT. He averaged a modest 4 yards per take during that period but found paydirt in both games. Even better, QB Raid Derek Carr saw his way into the passing game. Jacobs caught nine of nine career goals 38 yards in the Raiders’ WFT loss, a match that saw re-run teammate Kenyan Drake shoved off the field with a broken ankle. The captain is ranked 20th in the number of javes allowed and 29th in the number of nets allowed per plunge attempt, so Jacobs was a great player in a high scoring squad game this weekend .

Chuba Hubbard, Panthers vs. Falcons (DK: $5,900 | FD: $6,500)

Once again it’s Chuba-Chuba time in North Cackolacky! Christian McCaffrey picked up a season-ending ankle injury during the Panthers’ final game two weeks ago. Hubbard enjoyed hasty performances at 101 yards and 82 yards in two games in which he received 20 attempts (24 takes per game to be exact) and he found the zone. final area three times this season. Atlanta ranks 27th in allowed PPR scores to RB, so all board the Hubbard Hype Train again!

Javonte Williams, Broncos vs. Lions (DK: $5,900 | FD: $6,700)

I’ve always loved this adorable rookie, but I’m tired of his near-dead 50/50 volume split with Melvin Gordon. Then, Gordon (hip) was injured and pushed Williams right into the territory of the elite pursuers. Williams possesses the best of both worlds as a racer – he’s elusive and nimble, but he’s also bruised and powerful. He dashed past the Chiefs for 178 yards last week, 102 on the ground, 76 in the air and found the paydirt for the fourth time this season. He is a return lead and should be treated as such going forward. Even with Gordon playing this weekend, Williams is off to a phenomenal start. Detroit gave up the third-place fantasy spots to run backwards for the year.

WEEK 14 PPR ASSESSMENT:
Midfielder | Run back | Wide receiver | Tight ending | VND / ST | Kicker

NFL Week 14 DFS Picks: WR sleepers, value for DraftKings, FanDuel

Tee Higgins, Bengals vs 49ers (DK: $6,400 | FD: $6,800)

Higgins has been absolutely brilliant over the past few weeks, making a total of 15 catches from 252 yards and two touchdowns. That’s good for a total of 58.2 PPR points, for those holding the score at home. I’m all about reuniting at the end of this season, after a confusingly slow start to the stud receiver’s second season. It’s safe to say that Higgins rose to prominence at the start of the year, not to mention living in the shadow of explosive rookie Ja’Marr Chase. Well, Higgins seems perfectly healthy for now, and he also looks to be Joe Burrow’s top target once again. If he’s fit, he’ll play well with the Niners D allowing only Tyler Lockett to score seven 68-yard catches and one point.

DJ Moore, Panthers vs. Falcons (DK: $6,200 | FD: $6,800)

The Panthers have struggled without Christian McCaffrey this season, but you certainly can’t blame Moore. The stud receiver goes all week for this Carolina team, regardless of whether his QB shows up to play. Moore has 9 catches, 153 yards and a TD over the past two weeks, good with 33.3 PPR points. Confronted with the Falcons’ poor ranking, he should be able to pick up 20 points this weekend.

Jarvis Landry, Browns vs. Ravens (DK: $5,400 | FD: $6,400)

Since Odell Beckham was transferred to LA, Landry has been the man in Cleveland’s passing game. Damn, he was a man before OBJ left! Despite the sloppy, inconsistent play from his QB – and numerous injuries before the Browns’ powerful attack – Landry has averaged a fantasy yield in the double digits. He has 11 touchdowns for 153 yards and one touchdown in his past two games, and now he has a split battle against Baltimore at home. Sign me up.

NFL DFS Week 14 Picks: TE Sleeper, DraftKings, FanDuel values

Dawson Knox, Bills at Buccaneers (DK: $5,000 | FD: $6,000)

Knox could be dodged like the plague after the Bills dropped a huge Monday Night Soccer game for the Patriots, who completed just three passes in 19 yards. The tight finish had a forgettable match, catching only two of the six targets in 14 yards. The highlight of this disappointing sale was the third major drop in the first quarter, which seems to set the tone for Buffalo’s otherwise dismal night. But let’s look at the bright side: We won’t have to worry about any Nor’easters in Tampa this weekend. Knox will recover well and get closer to the high/low adolescent PPR production we’ve come to expect from him.

Gerald Everett, Seahawks in Texans (DK: 3,500 | FD: $4,800)

Gerald!! What happened to you last week!? Seven yards total and two falls on the finish line? Sheesh! I’m buying low, because Seattle coaches Pete Carroll and QB Russell Wilson absolutely love you. You’ve recorded 75 percent of the Seahawks’ hits in four consecutive games and were targeted 27 times in that period. That kind of volume in a Houston dome against an aggressive Texas team is worth over $3,500.

NFL DFS Week 14 Picks: D/ST Sleepers, DraftKings, FanDuel Values

Panthers vs. Falcons (DK: $2,800 | FD: $4,800)

The Panthers’ defense has been pretty good throughout the past year despite their woes elsewhere. They have delivered a fantastical result of 11 plus three times this season and now draw a fault for the Falcons to make a lot of mistakes. Atlanta offers the most fantasy points in the NFL for defense. We’re making it hard for Carolina, it’s scary, but sometimes in DFS you have to take some risks.
