In some parts of the world, a celebration of short stature is actually taking place. Arne Hendriks, a 6-foot-4-inch-tall instructor and artist, uses performances and exhibitions to encourage people to accept smaller inches. He even restricts milk in his sons’ diets and allows them to have only minimal sugar in order to limit their growth, saving them from height problems. Hendriks said: “It is time for the tall men to dismount. “Don’t get too confident when you’re tall because you’ll probably die younger, have more health problems and you’re polluting more.”
