Touched to work with dear friends, Liza Politi and extraordinary photographer Ari Espay, in the city of light – a place that I know well. Always loved the color and splash of Las Vegas. A natural magnet for the camera. But what I’ve always really loved and admired the most are the performers. A collection of artistically daring talents, incredibly unique in their beauty and skill. Dancers, former Olympic athletes, swimmers, acrobats… rarely witness such a skilled community gathered in one place. I enjoy working in Vegas whenever possible, and still shoot many jobs there.
Next year, April 23-29, We will have the honor of working with an incredible range of these gifted people, in some surprising locations around the famous Las Vegas Strip in a truly unique photograph. workshop experience. And, speaking of Strip, we’ll be in BellagioOne of the most gorgeous casino hotels in the world.
In this new week workshop, we’ll take a look at the lights and, of course, the glitz, and the buzz of Vegas’ nightlife. (Bring a tripod!) But for three days of the week, we’ll arrive at the venue with beautiful, charismatic talent learning lighting (all lighting provided), using light shaping to achieve the sharp and dramatic. Interior and exterior. Interesting locations and even a cowboy town.
