The season of light It’s finally coming to an end Pokémon GO and Niantic were quick to let us know what’s in store next for the mobile franchise.
The ‘mythical wish’ will come to us from December 1 and we’ve got a trailer showing off some of the things we can look forward to – including the reveal of some familiar Gen III faces. You can check out the full trailer above.
Along with the announcement of the new season comes the confirmation of the first event: Heading to Hoenn Mega Raid Day. That’s right, after teasing the Mega-evolved Sceptile, Blaziken, and Swampert forms at the end of the trailer, the studio has confirmed that these Megas will kick off the season in Raid Battles on December 3.

The Mythical Wish section will run until March 1, and we can expect some sort of long-running storyline to continue throughout as was the case with Cosmog in Season of Light. Eagle-eyed fans may have spotted Kyogre and Groudon’s silhouettes at the end of the trailer, potentially hinting at their arrival in the coming months.
