The 190cc FIM MiniGP World Series will race on kart tracks, suitable for 160cc competitions, with the following age restrictions in place for each category:

  • 160cc (10 inch wheel) – 10-14 years
  • 190cc (12 inch wheels) – 12-16 years

With some riders already shining in the 160 cc class in the FIM MiniGP World Series but not yet old enough to compete in the next levels in the Road to MotoGP programmes, the new 190cc class provides an opportunity for young competitors to continue. Continue to learn and compete. and improve in the safest possible place as they continue their careers on smaller machines and electrical circuits.

Only those who already have a MiniGP Series in 2022 will be able to add the 190cc class to their competitions for 2023 and only through the app. New countries or regions wishing to join the FIM MiniGP World Series for 2023 will only be accepted for the 160cc class.

Both the 160cc and 190cc classes will attend the FIM MiniGP World Finals in 2023, which will see the blue headband event grow once again.
