Nene Leakes’ boyfriend files for divorce from ex-wife


Nyonisela Sioh willing to cut ties with his estranged wife, Malomine Tehmeh-Sioh. The fashion designer and businessman has filed for divorce just months after Malomine filed a ‘family vandal’ lawsuit against his celebrity girlfriend, Nene Leakes.

Based on TMZ, Nyonisela cites the date of his separation from Malomine as September 19, 2021. In the divorce document, he claims there has been no marital relationship or cohabitation since that date. Nyonisela also said that he always intended the separation to be permanent.

What about Malomine’s case against Nene?

His filing could affect his estranged wife’s ongoing legal claims against Nene. As previously reported, Malomine has filed a lawsuit against the former The Real Housewives of Atlanta star in june. She blames Nene for the breakdown of her marriage – hinting in her lawsuit that Nene and Nyonisela started their relationship before the breakup.

However, it is still unclear when Nene and Nyonisela began their romance. In December 2021, questions began swirling around the couple when cameras caught them cuddling and dancing at Nene’s 54th birthday. A few days later, she confirmed the exclusive with Shade room that she and Nyonisela were “dating” and “friend.”

Nene also revealed that her late husband Gregg Leakes gave his blessing for her to move on before he passed away. Gregg died on September 1, 2021, after battling colon cancer.

“I will love Gregg forever and ever,” said Nene Shade room. “Grieving alone is hard, even harder and sadder. Gregg and I had a tearful conversation before he passed away. His words to me were, “rejoice, keep smiling, and whoever finds you is good.”

On December 17, the same day she confirmed her captured status, Nene and Nyonisela were seen kissing on video while celebrating his birthday in Miami.

Malomine demanded $100,000 in damages, Nene clapped her hands in response

As the new couple became comfortable in the limelight, footage of their budding romance began to appear online. In April, the couple recorded and shared footage of a bait in Ghana.

In her lawsuit, Malomine claims that she suffered humiliation and a broken marriage after Nene posted pictures featuring Nyonisela. The estranged wife is seeking $100,000 for emotional distress, mental distress, and emotional loss. Following news of the lawsuit, the reality TV icon appears to have denied the ‘house-breaker’ claims while going live on Instagram.

“We love you all. There’s so much going on in the world, let’s try to show each other a little more love,” said Nene. “And I really want to say that from the bottom of my heart, there’s a lot going on in the world. I’ve been here stealing my husband…And no one here robbed him, right? I wouldn’t know.”

Nyonisela also shared a post after news of the lawsuit broke. He seems to be protecting his new lover and covering for his fiancée.

“The best thing you can do to yourself in life is not to allow negative people to bring you down to their level, just maintain your self-esteem and stay away from them. Know that you can’t hang out with negative people and expect to live a positive life. Don’t forget that the less you react to negative people, like my separated ones,” Nyonisela wrote.

Now, months later, he is looking to dissolve his marriage to Malomine as soon as possible and go ‘his way with a “fair distribution of their wealth” pulling.
