Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe: Husband Richard on hunger strike to urge government to help
Richard Ratcliffe, the husband of Iranian detainee Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, has been on starvation strike in Whitehall since 24 October, demanding the federal government does extra to safe her launch.
Mrs Zaghari-Ratcliffe, a British-Iranian twin nationwide, was first jailed in Tehran in 2016 on spying costs, which she has all the time denied.
BBC video journalist Lorna Acquah has been visiting Mr Ratcliffe to speak in regards to the bodily and emotional toll of the starvation strike and its influence on his seven-year-old daughter.
It comes as Iran’s deputy international minister Bagheri Kani is because of maintain talks with officers from the Overseas Workplace in London.
