NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope Detects the Hidden Galaxy Behind the Milky Way Galaxy!

NASA has revealed that a mysterious galaxy is hiding behind our own Milky Way, and this was revealed by a Hubble Space Telescope photo. Check out this breathtaking photo.

The space is huge and it looks like it holds many surprises! And now NASA says the Hubble Space Telescope, which has been in operation for the past 32 years, has delivered an even more exciting and amazing surprise. From new galaxies to breathtaking moments of stars, planets, and more – the Hubble Telescope has always astounded scientists and people with the clarity of its images and what it has discovered in space. This time, a Hubble Space Telescope image has shed light on a mysterious galaxy that is lurking just behind our Milky Way and has been there for millions of years!

This sparkling image just shared by NASA shows Spiral galaxy IC 342, also known as Caldwell 5, located about 11 million light-years from Earth. This shared breathtaking image offers a first-hand view of the newly found galaxy’s center, which displays swirls of dust interwoven in the dazzling components that encase the hot gas core and stars. Well, you can call this galaxy whatever you want, but scientists have had a hard time detecting it and that’s why it’s nicknamed the ‘Hidden Galaxy’. Also Read: Shocking Earth Incident Revealed! How NASA’s Hubble Telescope Discovered the ‘Hidden’ Galaxy

NASA explains why it remained hidden for so long. “It appears near the equator of the Milky Way’s pearly disk, which is filled with dense cosmic gas, dark dust, and luminous stars that obscure our view,” NASA said in a statement. . NASA has mentioned that this Hidden Galaxy will be one of the brightest galaxies in our sky to date. Despite its luminosity, this galaxy remains unremarkable in space. “If it weren’t obscured by too much interstellar matter, the Hidden Galaxy would be one of the brightest galaxies in our sky. A relatively close galaxy, about 50,000 years across. light and billions of years old,” NASA added. Also Read: These Super Scary Black Hole Facts Just Revealed!

The core of the galaxy is a specific type of region known as the H II nucleus. It is a region of ionized hydrogen that is central to the energetic birthplaces of stars, where thousands of stars can be born in a few million years. And each young, extremely hot, blue star will emit some ultraviolet light to further ionize the surrounding hydrogen gas.

Thanks to NASA’s Hubble Telescope and its infrared capabilities, we can now peer through scattered debris and dust for a clearer view of the galaxy behind the interstellar matter. Well, this is not the first time, before that in 2017 and 2010, the same galaxy was discovered by the Hubble Telescope in some breathtaking pictures!
