NASA, UFOs? US agency shocked and appalled

NASA is preparing to conduct a study into the existence of “Unidentified Flying Objects”, more commonly known as UFOs. Here’s more about it.

NASA is running an independent team to study the existence of UFOs. A UFO is an unidentified object in space commonly known as an alien spacecraft. They are part of what NASA calls “UAP” – Unknown Aerial Phenomena, which refers to any unidentified object in space.

According to astrophysicist David Spergel, “Given the paucity of observations, our first task was simply to collect the most robust data set we could. We will determine what data – from civilians, governments, nonprofits, companies – exists, what other data we should strive to collect, and how to best analyze it. “

Spergel, president of the Simons Foundation in New York City, is leading this independent team on this new NASA study. He will join Daniel Evans, the assistant associate administrator for research at NASA’s Science Mission Directorate and will be the NASA official responsible for conducting the research.

People all over the world have claimed to be witnesses of UFO sightings. They are said to have seen flashing lights in the sky that looked like UFOs. Although a lot of people have witnessed them, there is hardly any concrete evidence that can confirm a UFO’s visit to Earth.

However, NASA is aiming to change that. “NASA believes the tools of scientific discovery are very powerful, and that applies here as well,” said Thomas Zurbuchen, director of science at NASA Headquarters in Washington.

Notably, he added, “We don’t shy away from reputational risk.” In fact, NASA is looking to enter a field that has not been defined by any scientific theory, and is, in fact, dominated by heard and unconfirmed reports.

“We have access to a wide range of observations of Earth from space – and that is the lifeblood of scientific research. We have tools and teams that can help us improve our understanding of the unknown. That is the definition of science. That’s what we do,” he added.

This new study is part of NASA’s vision to look for signs of life on other planets as well as study any signs of extraterrestrial life on Earth. The agency has used its various satellites and telescopes to look for signs of life on other planets. From the Hubble Telescope, the Exoplanet Survey Satellite to its brand new James Webb Space Telescope, it doesn’t look like NASA will rest until it finds evidence of life on other planets. .
