Monster Hunter, Devil May Cry V Move up Capcom’s list of platinum titles


Capcom updated their Platinum Titles listreveal titles like Devil May Cry DRAW and Monster Hunter: Rise up move up the ranks. While Monster Hunter: World still at the top, with Resident Evil 7 secure second place, Monster Hunter: Rise up currently in third place. Sold 11.2 million copies, Monster Hunter: Rise up enough replacement Resident Evil 2 remake, previously occupied that spot with 10 million copies sold.

However, Devil May Cry DRAW just entered the top 10 of Capcom’s list of Platinum titles, reaching 6.10 million copies sold worldwide. As of this writing, Street Fighter II still occupy the 10th place with 6.30 million units sold. CHEAPEvil Village avoids also ranked somewhere in the top 10, coming in at number 9 with 6.60 million units sold. However, this may change with the new release Resident Evil Village Gold Edition release late October 2022. That assumes Capcom will combine sales with the game’s initial release.

Capcom continues its success in recent releases. Monster Hunter: Rise up quick replacement Street Fighter II Capcom’s best single-platform sales title. With the release on PC, sales continued to increase, making it rapidly climb Capcom’s internal charts. Capcom also announced in August 2022 that Sunshine extended to Monster Hunter: Rise up it’s official sold more than 4 million units worldwide.
