Good start bonus
Unlock your Head Start Bonus packs and XP as soon as you log in on the afternoon of June 7 PST. If you’ve completed all five starting goals, you’ll have enough XP to earn your first Wild Card slot from the Season 2 XP Reward Path. You can then choose your favorite player from the card Part 1 to join our new Part 2 lineup. Don’t forget to open the Captain Diamond Cornerstone pack to build your team based on the Captain’s strength.
There’s a lot to do as Season 2 begins. Play the new Team Affinity to find rewards for your favorite team. Build your best squad to go head-to-head against opponents in Ranked, or join your friends in 2v2 or 3v3 Ranked co-op play.
Double XP
You’ll earn Double XP all weekend long to get you off to a fast start in Season 2. From new Moments to 3-round games to 9-round games, play your way and earn all the parts New XP Path rewards, including Hall of Famers Ken Griffey Jr., Roy Halladay and Chipper Jones.
Season 2 collection
As you explore all the great content that Season 2 of MLB The Show 24 has to offer, be sure to collect the Season 2 Legendary and Flashback player items in the Season 2 Collection to receive the Bundle Boss Collection selections include Hall of Famers Derek Jeter, Frank Thomas and Bob Gibson. Having any of these great athletes on your roster, let alone all 3, will make any team a force to be reckoned with in MLB The Show 24.
Coming in June
Play something new Architect Program drops on Tuesday, June 11, when reinforcements arrive for your Captain-themed team. As you play through the program, you’ll earn four Diamond players that fit the new Cornerstone Season 2 Captains team build.
2024 All-Star Game
Another big stop in Part 2 takes us to Texas for the 2024 All-Star Game in mid-July. If you’re attending in Arlington, TX, be sure to stop by the MLB The Show booth to get your Get a hands-on experience with MLB The Show 24, and maybe take home some MLB The Show awards that will make you the envy of all your friends.
